ABOUT THE EVENT
Cwm Idwal was designated the first National Nature Reserve in Wales in 1954, recognised for its rare Arctic–Alpine plant communities and striking rock formations. The area provides an ideal environment for families to enjoy the outdoors safely, learn about nature, and build confidence in mountainous terrain without the hazards associated with higher summits.
