The South Ridge of Tryfan offers the perfect mix of accessible challenge, hands-on terrain, and incredible scenery to get your first real taste of scrambling.
Designed for beginners with a reasonable base level of fitness, this day is all about building confidence, learning how to move safely over broken ground, and developing your skills in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
We’ll cover basic movement techniques, route finding, managing fear, and what it means to think like a mountaineer.
